HardRush DJ Competition

Since the pandemic, the LA underground has exploded with amazing new talent along with the DJs that kept us going during lockdown via Twitch and other virtual platforms. We at HardRush have had difficulties keeping track of every amazing up and coming DJ from in and around Southern California. Looking to broaden our horizons and diversify our lineups, HardRush is having a competition open to all SoCal HardDance DJs for a time slot at the next HardRush. This edition of HardRush will take place on August 19th, 2023, in LA.

Submit your captivating 10-15 minute DJ performance video for a chance to showcase your skills at HardRush! The deadline for entries is June 9th, 11:59 PM. Our expert panel will carefully evaluate all submissions and select the top 5 entrants, who will not only enjoy complimentary admission to HardRush but also advance to the next phase of the contest on our YouTube channel starting July 1st.

The competition doesn't end there! Engage your audience and gather the most YouTube likes by 11:59 PM on July 31st to secure a well-deserved time slot at HardRush—guaranteed not to be an opening or closing act. Don't miss this exceptional opportunity to share your talent and passion with the world!

Rules:

• All entrants must be at least 18 years of age before the date of the event.
• Contest is open only to individuals that have not played a previous HardRush event.
• Only 1 video is allowed to be submitted per artist.
• Video files must be 1GB or less in size.
• Video should be a recording of your live mixing; we are not interested in your video editing skills.
• Videos greater than 15 minutes are automatically disqualified.
• HardRush will choose the finalists based on mixing, track selection, and artist performance.
• When submitting your video, please include your DJ name and best contact information.
• Artists are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event.
• Videos must not contain nudity, substance use, or reference to any illegal activity.
• Any speech, images, or lyrics that depict hate, slander, or defamation based on race, age, or sexual orientation is automatic disqualification from the contest.
• Finalists found to be using or suspected of using bot or paid clicks will automatically be disqualified.
• All video submissions become property of HardRush LLC to use as we see fit, including any future competitions.
